Design Your Own Art:
Project Description:
This project is all about an artist's personal expression! We were prompted to create our own project that reflects our personalities as artist or something that sparks our interest. I decided to create an online art portfolio for all my upcoming art for the summer. My goal is to be able to spread this website around so I can create and sell art. Creating a balanced website that catches the eye is totally a form of art! My biggest message in my website is that I want to share my art with everyone. Even though there are no pictures of my art available, yet, I did a lot of refinement on the website itself. Originally,y my descriptions were too long and after critique from friends and family, I made the reading aspects more concise so that the focus will be on the art.

Project Reflection:
I love my final product, even without my art on it. iT is very simple and easy to navigate for people who want to explore my pager. The color scheme stays the same for each page and somehow connects to the subject of the page. It feel welcoming in a way! The only thing I would have done differently is to set up a page where people can pay me through the website, that is my next step.
Self Portrait Project:
Project Description:
In order to create this piece, I had to go through a number of steps. The first was to find/make a photo that I wanted to build off of as a self-portrait. I found that one self-portrait photo shoot that I had already done felt perfect on me. I used this photo to build on the idea that I had. The next step was formatting this image and transferring to an editing website; where I used the tools to add lines, filters, depth, and colors.
Artist Statement:
In the image, you will notice that there is an arrangement of colorful lines. The image other than those lines is more dark and almost scary. The goal of this project was to show two sides of me. One is more serious, edgy, stylish. The other is colorful, bright, and full of energy. I wanted to show that there does not have to be only one theme for a self-portrait, we all have different sides to us!
